At the end of August, I am moving into my own apartment in Norrköping and am therefore looking for personal assistants for a completely new assistance group. The group will consist of five permanent assistants and substitutes for cover when needed.

I have a congenital disability, which means that you as an assistant will be my extended arm in daily life. I speak for myself, decide for myself, and organize the assistance together with my supervisor.

My care needs mainly consist of:

Personal hygiene
Household chores
Social interaction
Practical help in daily life

Healthcare education or previous experience as a personal assistant, as well as experience with a urostomy, are meritorious but not required. Personal chemistry and the right personal qualities are the most important factors.

About me

My main interests are dance band music and cooking. I enjoy cooking from scratch together with my assistants. I also like interior design and appreciate having a nice and well-organized environment.

Qualifications

Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will sometimes help me with communication with others.
Good physical condition, as daily lifting and transfers occur.
(Transfers are always performed with double assistance).
Non-smoker.

Working hours and scope:

Day/Evening: 08:15–23:15, 22:45–13:00
On-call/waiting time between 02:00–08:00
We hire as hourly employees with the possibility of a permanent contract "for the duration of the assignment" (approx. 80%).

Start date: End of August
