We are looking for an experienced Breakfast Manager for Scandic Talk.

As Breakfast Manager, you are the one who motivates, drives, develops, and engages everyone in the team to take significant personal responsibility for improving work methods and service as the external environment changes. What does the role involve?

In this role as Breakfast Manager, you are responsible for our breakfast department, where you have the overall responsibility for ensuring that the breakfast experience is world-class in terms of both treatment and quality. This means ensuring a high level of service and an offering that meets the guest's needs, together with your team. You and your team are also responsible for ensuring that our meeting guests receive lunch and coffee breaks during their stay with us.

You lead and develop the operations and employees based on the company's strategy, goals, and local conditions. You have a passion for service, and through your leadership, you inspire and motivate your employees, creating the conditions for you to deliver outstanding guest experiences together. As Breakfast Manager, you are also part of the daily operations, and you are responsible for planning and staffing based on the needs of the business. You are part of the hotel's management group, which means you have overall responsibility for the entire hotel together with your colleagues.

Who are you?

You view changes positively and have the ability to lead others through them. You are flexible, good at seeing solutions, and creating relationships. You need to have a good understanding and flexibility for varying operations; we are a convention hotel where the number of guests varies greatly from day to day. You have experience working with breakfast, conferences, and event lunches, as well as a drive to want to develop our department. You have a good ability to plan long-term.

You are a leader who sees it as a given to be present at different times and days, and who has a holistic perspective in everything you do. You value the benefits of collaboration, give regular feedback, and are communicative in your leadership style. You plan your time and work purposefully towards short- and long-term goals. You have previous experience leading others in a similar role, as well as relevant education and experience within the service industry. You have good administrative skills, experience with financial planning and follow-up, and good familiarity with working in various system supports. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
