Statens institutionsstyrelse (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individualized compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse issues. Job Description

Do you have experience leading projects and want to work with planning and monitoring issues in the public sector? We are now looking for a Project Manager who wants to help develop location and capacity work within the agency.

As a Project Manager, you will enter an exciting phase with extensive development and strengthening in governance, planning, analysis, and monitoring. This means you will be involved in ongoing work as well as various development initiatives to strengthen and develop the agency's governance and management, thereby creating the best conditions for SiS's mission. You will lead or participate in various development projects where the focus and scope of the work may vary.

You will work broadly with the agency's location and capacity issues, but over time may also be involved in other management and governance projects within the section's framework. One assignment will include, among other things, the agency's location planning. The role involves many contact surfaces, both within the headquarters and the operations as a whole.

Qualifications

Requirements

• University education in political science, economics, or other relevant education that SiS deems equivalent
• Experience in leading projects and/or project groups
• Several years of experience working with governance and monitoring in public operations
• Experience writing analyses and reports for internal and external audiences
• Very good communicative skills in both speech and writing in Swedish

Employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
