Responsibilities and Tasks
As an auditor with us, we offer you a unique opportunity to participate in the development of an investigative function within the state sector. You will work on everything from simple audits to more complex investigations. Your role involves collecting, processing, and analyzing data from various sources to detect incorrect payments and other errors.
Alongside the auditing of suspected incorrect payments, you will participate in efforts to ensure an efficient and legally secure auditing function within the agency. You will contribute to method and operational development within the auditing activities. The role includes regular dialogue and collaboration with other agencies.
We are looking for someone who has
- An academic degree that we assess as relevant for the role
- At least 2 years of recent experience in controlling/investigating incorrect payments within the public sector and/or unemployment insurance funds
- Recent work experience within social insurance, unemployment insurance, pensions, unemployment insurance funds, study grants, or financial assistance to private individuals
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
It is an advantage if you also have
- Recent work experience in leading or participating in collaboration with external parties
Competencies and Skills
To succeed in the role of auditor at the Payment Authority, you are quality-conscious and have strong analytical skills. You are structured, self-initiating, and have good collaboration skills.
The government's code of conduct summarizes and highlights the most important requirements for state employees; working in the state means adhering to it. We also have high demands for security awareness.
Other Information
The place of work is in Stockholm. The agency is located in modern premises near Gullmarsplan. Security clearance may be required. The position is a permanent full-time employment. A six-month probationary period may apply.
