About Us

The Orthopedic Clinic operates at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna (MSE) and Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm (KSK) and has approximately 120 employees distributed among doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, and administrative staff. The Orthopedic Clinic assesses and treats diseases and injuries within the musculoskeletal system. The operations include, among other things, prosthetic, trauma, shoulder, hand, foot, spine, pediatric, and arthroscopic surgery. We are looking for an attending physician/specialist in orthopedics with a focus on foot surgery.

The Orthopedic Clinic MSE/KSK also staffs the emergency duty at the emergency department at Mälarsjukhuset. The clinic has approximately 40 doctor positions and provides both outpatient and inpatient care. The clinic's patients are of all ages.

Your Responsibilities

• Employment at the Orthopedic Clinic MSE/KSK with primary placement at Mälarsjukhuset, Eskilstuna, but with some duties also at Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm.
• You will be a positive force in building up and developing our foot section. The clinic performs foot surgery at the hospital in Eskilstuna and to some extent also outpatient procedures in Katrineholm.
• We have emergency services at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna, and emergency duty is included in the position.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician and a specialist in orthopedics. You are an independent surgeon and want to help develop the operations we have today. You have a strong commitment to your work and have good ability to work both independently and in a team. We place great value on good cooperation skills and good judgment. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent employment with start date as agreed.
