Cook for Brännö Värdshus – High Season 2024

Located on Brännö, an island in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg, lies Brännö Värdshus. You reach the inn by boat via the archipelago ferry service. The venue hosts numerous events and activities, most notably live music every month, year-round. Due to its proximity to Gothenburg and the city's popularity as a tourist destination, many of our guests come from all corners of the world. Our restaurant seats 40 guests, and our open-air pavilion accommodates over 100 guests. We host music events, parties, weddings, and conferences here. In the summer, our large and lovely outdoor terrace is filled with island residents and summer visitors. The inn also operates Pensionat Baggen, a guesthouse with 9 rooms and 19 beds.

Accommodation can be arranged. To prepare for the high season, we are looking to complement our team with an independent and driven á la carte cook for both hot and cold kitchens. Could this be you?

Who are you?

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious cook with documented experience and vocational training or equivalent. Experience working with fresh fish and shellfish is preferred.

You naturally love food, drinks, people, and service, and you take pride in giving guests "that little extra" every day. We are a tight-knit team that motivates and supports each other, all to ensure our guests have a wonderful time. The archipelago environment is inspiring, offering ample opportunities for personal and professional development.

Tasks and Conditions

As a cook at Brännö Värdshus, you will produce well-prepared meals in a unique and inspiring environment where fish and shellfish play a significant role in the menu. The work schedule includes days, evenings, and weekends. Other standard kitchen duties are also included.

A driver's license is an advantage. We always strive to ensure our guests feel well-cared for and pampered in a relaxed manner by serving delicious food and providing friendly service.
