About Us

The Orthopedic Clinic operates at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna (MSE) and Kullbergska sjukhuset in Katrineholm (KSK) and employs approximately 120 staff members, including doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, and administrative personnel. The Orthopedic Clinic assesses and treats diseases and injuries within the musculoskeletal system. Our services include prosthetic, trauma, shoulder, hand, foot, spine, pediatric, and arthroscopic surgery. We are looking for a Senior Physician/Specialist in Orthopedics with a focus on Foot Surgery.

The Orthopedic Clinic MSE/KSK also staffs the emergency department at Mälarsjukhuset. The clinic has approximately 40 physician positions and provides both outpatient and inpatient care. Our patients range in age from children to seniors.

Your Responsibilities

• Employment at the Orthopedic Clinic MSE/KSK, primarily located at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna, with some duties also at Kullbergska sjukhuset in Katrineholm.
• You will be a positive force in building and developing our foot surgery section. The clinic performs foot surgery at the hospital in Eskilstuna and, to some extent, outpatient procedures in Katrineholm.
• We have emergency services at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna, and on-call duties are included in the position.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician and a specialist in orthopedics. You are an independent surgeon and wish to contribute to the development of our current operations. You have a strong commitment to your work and possess good skills in working both independently and in teams. We place great value on good collaboration skills and sound judgment. Personal attributes are highly emphasized.
