We are now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our client Johnson & Johnson – a global leader in pharmaceuticals and medical technology. This is an exciting consulting assignment via Adecco starting in June 2026.

About the assignment

In the role of Manufacturing Engineer, you will become a key player in production, responsible for specific process areas such as filling, visual inspection, or sterilization. You will work closely with production and engineering to ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality processes in a regulatory environment.

Main responsibilities

• Act as the technical owner for assigned processes and drive their development over time
• Lead root cause analyses (RCA) using established methods (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone, 5M)
• Drive improvement projects within processes and equipment (from idea to implementation)
• Work with change control, validation, and documentation
• Ensure that processes meet requirements according to GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and OEE
• Contribute to a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement

This is a consulting assignment via Adecco starting in June, expected to last for five months. Possibility of extension exists. The assignment is 100% onsite in Uppsala.

About you

• At least 3 years of experience from production or industrial operations in a regulated environment (Medical Device or Pharma)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Economics, Electrical Power, or similar
• Experience with:
  • Process and equipment validation (URS, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ)
  • Change control
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA 21 CFR Part 820
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
