Källeskolan is a centrally located school in Skara with approximately 300 students. The school has a well-developed student health team that works across the entire school area to create an equitable school where all students are given the conditions to achieve good results.

The school has three work teams (Grades F-3, 4-6, and after-school care), grade-level teams for each year, and two after-school units. In addition to class teachers, there are Swedish as a Second Language (Sva) teachers and special needs teachers, as well as the student health team, on site every day. We have experienced staff who, together with the students, create a good learning environment through a common approach and shared rules for well-being. Our students have access to a large and modern schoolyard, and due to the school's central location, they also have access to nearby sports fields and green areas, which promote physical activity and creative outdoor time. The school's core values safety, learning, and motivation permeate the entire operation.

We are now looking for a teacher for Grades F-3 to join our team!

The role involves

Your duties involve teaching at Källeskolan with placement in Grades F-3.

You are responsible for planning, implementing, developing, following up, and evaluating teaching in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum for Compulsory School, Preschool Class and Preschool (Lgr22) and other governing documents. The work is carried out both individually and in collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a safe and developmental environment for the students. We want the teaching to be interesting and inspiring for our students so that they have the opportunity to achieve the goals of the education.

You are positive, solution-focused, and have a good ability to coordinate and plan together with your colleagues. You work to create a positive learning situation with a focus on promoting good health where all students are given the opportunity to succeed based on their prerequisites. In consultation with the student health team, you also work to ensure that relevant measures are implemented for students in need of additional support. We believe that your ability to build good relationships combined with strong subject knowledge is a key factor in helping our students succeed.

Qualifications

• Licensed teacher, qualified to teach in compulsory school Grades F-3.
• Have a creative ability, think new thoughts, and dare to take initiative.
• Be a secure pedagogical leader.
• Have a good ability to structure, plan, organize, and follow up on the pedagogical work based on the existing governing documents.
• Have a good ability to create respectful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Terms of Employment

The positions are full-time with holiday service. Start date 2026-08-10 or as agreed.
