Description

The IFO Child and Family Unit consists of two family home secretaries, one family law secretary, 11 social secretaries, and four family therapists. The unit is led by two supervisors and a unit manager. From August this year, we will expand the unit with a senior social worker, and within the framework of the project "Home First," we will also have access to a psychologist averaging one day per week.

Here we also receive support from a highly qualified and experienced supervisor who provides the group with continuous supervision. As a social secretary with us, there is also the possibility to work remotely at times.

The social secretary group within child and family is currently divided into reception, investigation, outpatient interventions, and placement.

There is great camaraderie in the group, and every week, joint physical activities are offered to maintain and strengthen the group's cohesion. Group meetings take place half a day per week, and supervisors have continuous case supervision with social secretaries.

Job Description

The work involves investigating, deciding on, implementing, and following up on interventions in accordance with current legislation. As a social secretary, you are expected to work preventively in collaboration with other societal actors, both externally and internally. You receive your daily supervision from a supervisor, and your nearest manager is the IFO Unit Manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed a Swedish social work degree. It is meritorious if you have experience working with children and young people within authority operations. If you also have Signs of Safety and BBIC training, that is also meritorious. You must master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.

As a person, you adapt easily to changed circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions, and you have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others. You need to be able to relate to other people in a listening way, and good cooperation is natural to you. To thrive best in the role as a social secretary with us, we see that you have the ability to plan, organize, and structure the work in an effective way.
