RESPONSIBILITIES

The Mobile Youth Team primarily works with young people aged 16 to 20 placed in supported housing, but the team also handles certain outpatient interventions, such as mapping for placement in supported housing. Broadly, the work involves skills training, societal orientation, and guidance with the goal of increasing the individual's independence and participation in society. Employees are responsible for planning their own work, which is characterized by high involvement, flexibility, and the opportunity to influence.

The needs of the child/young person are always at the center, which places high demands on collaboration, interaction, and good communication among all members of the child's/young person's network. This includes communication between us who work in the housing facility, as well as with guardians, other relatives, schools, and social secretaries. We also collaborate with our Residential Care Homes (HVB) and assist each other with staffing when needed.

You will work days, evenings, and weekends. Schedules are set six weeks in advance, and team members adapt their schedules based on the staffing required to meet the young people's current needs. The work is highly independent and requires significant responsibility, good planning, and effective communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education of at least two years, with a focus on social work or behavioral sciences. Meritorious experience includes motivation and change work with children/young people and their families, experience meeting people in vulnerable situations, and familiarity with and appreciation for teamwork. Knowledge of social documentation and training in MI (Motivational Interviewing), low-affective handling, trauma-informed care, and Signs of Safety are also meritorious.

The work presupposes that you have a professional and non-judgmental approach to everyone you meet. You work in a normalization-oriented manner, based on the approach that we are working in their home. It is important that you have self-awareness regarding how you function in a group and how you influence the group's joint work. Furthermore, you are unpretentious, see differences as a strength, and view different competencies as an asset and source of learning and development for both yourself and the team. You have the ability to build trusting relationships through a genuinely interested approach and can create conditions for the young person to reflect and grow independently.

A valid Class B driver's license is required.

For employment in housing, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record and suspicion register) for Residential Care Homes for children and young people is required.
