Are you the structured project coordinator we are looking for for the Urban Planning Department?

Over the past few years, we have developed and improved our tools and processes for a smooth and efficient urban planning process. This includes, among other things, an updated project and assignment model as well as the implementation of project tools. We have also developed our internal steering model with forums and steering groups. The next step is to find you who can take the work forward with ongoing adjustments, follow-ups, and evaluations of the working methods to ensure that we work efficiently and correctly. At the same time, Södertälje Municipality is reviewing the need for a common project methodology, a task in which you will play an important role.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for you who can take a cohesive responsibility for the department's project methodology, manage our project tool Antura, and provide administrative support in the handling of projects.

You will be responsible for the daily management of the department's project model and the associated process, as well as supporting the department's employees to work in accordance with the methodology. In addition, you lead the work to continue developing the department's project tool Antura together with the administration organization's super users. You participate in a supportive role before and during follow-ups of the department's projects and portfolio management meetings, and you quality-assure materials, including based on data in Antura. You are the link between employees and working methods, and guide the department forward towards increased project maturity with internal training initiatives in project models and project tools.

You participate in preparing, coordinating, and documenting our various decision and preparation forums in the urban planning process, where you are the link that ensures that the practical work runs smoothly.

Who are you?

To handle the assignment, you need to be structured, meticulous, and pedagogical. You are communicative and have an easy time getting into complex discussions. You are good at identifying problem areas and finding solutions from these. You see patterns and have a good ability to create structure. A success factor for succeeding in the assignment is your ability to communicate, collaborate, and build good relationships with others. Personal qualities such as a well-developed pedagogical ability and the ability to adapt your messages to the target audience are of great importance.

Requirements:

• You have a university education with a focus on project management, business administration, urban planning, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• You have previous work experience in coordination/scheduling and/or follow-up of project work, alternatively development or management of a project model.
• You have previously worked with or managed project tools.
• You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious:

• You have work experience in the urban planning area with urban planning or similar assignments.
• Experience with the project tool Antura.
• Experience with project models according to industry standards (e.g., XLPM or PPS).
• Experience in creating summaries and data analyses in PowerBI.
