Lammet & Grisen

is located in the sunny northern part of Öland and serves roast lamb and pork. Our chefs carve the meat in the restaurant, and guests choose their sides from various buffet tables. Vegetarian and vegan options are, of course, available.

Experienced troubadours entertain guests every evening, from opening until closing time.

On the roof, there is a lovely terrace with views over the Öland plateau, where our guests can enjoy a drink before or after their meal.

Opening Hours

The restaurant is open in the evenings. Our regular opening days are Monday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

To work with us, you must be organized, energetic, and have a cheerful disposition. You enjoy working with people. We serve between 400–900 guests per evening, so the work pace is fast.

You will prepare the bar for the evening. All sales of soft drinks, beer, wine, cocktails, coffee, etc., go through the bar directly to the guest. We have a large bar staffed by 3–4 people and a smaller bar where one person works. We work as a team, helping each other out.

Staff Meals and Community

Since our founding in 1969 on Öland, sharing a meal together has been a tradition. The idea behind "Pappa Bengan’s" philosophy is simple: "If you want to work well, you must eat well." Even after 50 years, this remains a crucial part of our evening routine. Staff and owners sit together in a relaxed atmosphere before the service begins. The chefs take turns creating delicious dishes from high-quality ingredients, focusing on variety, taste, and nutrition.

Accommodation

We offer accommodation at Nybygården, a former guesthouse consisting of the main house, a wing, a courtyard house, a summer house, and a large garden with space for volleyball and relaxation. It is a true summer idyll! The beach at Nyby is just 2 km away, and the ICA supermarket is 1 km away.
