Night Receptionist for Hotel Operations

We are looking for a responsible, service-oriented, and self-sufficient night receptionist for our hotel operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working night shifts, has good judgment, and feels comfortable taking on significant responsibility during shifts where you often work independently.

As a night receptionist, you are the face of the hotel during the night hours. You are responsible for providing guests with a professional and welcoming reception, as well as ensuring a safe, secure, and smooth stay.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out of guests
• Handling of bookings and payments
• Ensuring that the hotel's fire safety, security, and routine procedures are followed
• Handling guest inquiries, requests, and any unforeseen situations
• Contributing to maintaining a high service level and a positive guest experience

The work is scheduled during night hours and may include weekend work.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• Experience from the hotel industry, for example as a hotel receptionist or in a similar guest-facing role.
• Alternatively, experience from other service-oriented professions where customer interaction has been a central part of the work.
• Education within hospitality, tourism, or the visitor industry is an advantage.
• Good computer skills and the ability to work in various digital systems.
• Experience with booking systems such as Mews, Opera Cloud, Hotsoft, HMS, or equivalent is a plus.
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of additional languages is seen as an advantage.
• A police certificate (extract from the criminal record) without any remarks.
