Munken Hotel in Mönsterås is looking for two service-oriented hotel receptionists for approximately 25% of a full-time position. This role is perfect for you if you want to work part-time alongside your studies or other commitments.

We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, creating order, and providing guests with a warm and professional welcome. At our hotel, the reception is a key part of the guest experience, serving both hotel guests, conference attendees, and restaurant visitors.

Experience from hotels, reception, restaurants, or other service roles is an advantage, but the right personality is most important.

Responsibilities

As a receptionist, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Check-in and check-out of hotel guests
• Handling bookings via phone, email, and booking systems
• Guest service and information
• Cash handling
• Serving as an information hub for other departments within the hotel
• Service in the hotel bar

We are looking for someone who

• Is cheerful, detail-oriented, and responsible
• Is comfortable communicating with people
• Can work independently and stay calm under pressure
• Has good computer skills
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently

About the Role

The position is approximately 25%. Working hours are scheduled with a focus on evenings and weekends. There is an opportunity for extra hours when needed, such as during high season, conferences, and events.
