About the role

As a restaurant and coffee service employee, you will have a varied daily routine combining work in the restaurant with responsibility for coffee service across the site. You will become an important part of our team and contribute every day to creating a positive experience for our guests and customers.

The responsibilities include among other things:

• Preparation and serving of food and drinks, both in the kitchen and dining area.
• Handling cash registers.
• Ensuring the restaurant and work areas are clean and pleasant.
• Refilling, cleaning, and basic maintenance of approximately 100 coffee machines and vending machines on the site together with colleagues.
• Inventories, stock management, and ordering of raw materials.
• Reading utility meters and daily contact with customers and businesses.

About Restaurant Furan

Restaurant Furan is located at Scania's premises on Sandåsavägen in Oskarshamn. Here, eleven dedicated employees serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to 350 guests every weekday.

We are also responsible for catering for meetings, conferences, and larger staff events. Additionally, we run a 24/7 Market shop on the site with a wide range of drinks, confectionery, and lighter meals.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys providing good service, takes responsibility for their work, and thrives in a role with many points of contact.

You:

• Are at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license (Category B) (required for the position).
• Are service-oriented and greet people with a smile.
• Have good planning and organizational skills.
• Enjoy working independently and taking initiative.
• Are flexible and solution-oriented.
• Are good at collaborating and building good relationships.
• Speak and write Swedish fluently.

Experience from restaurants, cafés, service industries, or driving is considered an advantage.
