Bistro, Kitchen & Cashier at First Camp Ekerum – Accommodation Provided!

Are you looking for a summer job where you work with happy holidaymakers, great colleagues, and the sea just minutes away?

We are now looking for 8 new stars to join our bistro team at First Camp Ekerum on Öland. Here, you work right in the heart of the summer vibe with sun, beach, action-packed days, and lovely summer evenings.

During our busiest summer weeks, the destination comes alive with activities and evening entertainment in the bistro – making your summer with us much more than just a job.

And the best part? 🏕️ Accommodation is available on the campsite for those moving here for the summer.

What will you do?

At our place, you will primarily work in either cashier/service or kitchen/prep, but we always help each other out as a team when the pace picks up.

Cashier & Service

You are the face of the bistro, greeting our guests with energy and excellent service.

Tasks may include:

  • Taking orders at the register

  • Handling drinks and simple counter service

  • Assisting guests and maintaining good flow in the bistro

  • Keeping guest areas clean and tidy

Kitchen & Prep

You work together with the team in the kitchen, ensuring food quality remains high even during busy periods.

Tasks may include:

  • Cooking meals according to our concept

  • Preparing ingredients and prepping for service

  • Maintaining order and structure in the kitchen

  • Dishwashing and cleaning

During weeks 27–32, there is extra activity at the destination with evening entertainment, high energy, and lots of holidaymakers.

Regardless of your role, we work together to create a truly great experience for our guests.

Who are we looking for?

You don’t need to know everything from the start – the most important thing is that you like people, have good energy, and want to be part of a team where we help each other.

We believe you:

  • Are positive and service-oriented

  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborate easily

  • Take responsibility and contribute to a good atmosphere

  • Want a fun and developmental summer

Experience from restaurants, cafés, fast food, or service is a plus, but not required.

Training is provided on-site, so your attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.

You must be able to communicate in Swedish or English.

Why First Camp?

With us, you get more than just a job. You become part of a team where we work closely together, develop together, and have fun along the way.

With us, you get: ☀️ Work at one of Sweden’s best summer destinations 🌊 Sea, beach, and holiday vibes every day 🍔 A fast-paced and social job 🏕️ On-site accommodation 🎉 Colleagues and friends from all over the world 🚀 Opportunities for career development within the company

Many who start with us return for several summers – and several of our leaders started as seasonal employees themselves.

About the position

We are looking for staff for the summer season starting in week 25, with a workload of 30–40 hours per week.

Working hours vary and include days, evenings, and weekends according to the collective agreement.

Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis – don’t wait to apply!
