Finance & Accounting Manager at Game Outlet Europe ABGame Outlet Europe is now looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager for its office in Karlstad. In this role, you will have a key position in the company where you are responsible for the finance function and report to the CEO as well as to the headquarters within Embracer Group.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have experience from similar positions and are confident in working both operationally and responsibly within finance.
Main responsibilities
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
- Budgeting and forecasting
- VAT, tax, and authority reporting, including reporting to SCB
- VAT issues related to international trade
- Follow-up and quality assurance of ongoing bookkeeping as well as customer and supplier accounts
- Reporting of results and budget as well as other financial reports requested by the parent company
- Inventory transactions and financial follow-up related to inventory and COGS
- Currency management
- Bank matters
- Payroll administration and personnel administration
The role also includes supporting ongoing bookkeeping as needed and assisting the business with financial information and analysis.
Your profileWe are looking for you who have experience with qualified financial work and feel confident in closing and ongoing reporting. You have a good understanding of accounting, tax, and VAT, and are well-versed in issues related to tax declarations, VAT reporting, and reporting to authorities such as SCB. Since we are part of a public company, the reporting time is quite short, which is why you need to be used to working with deadlines.
Furthermore, you have experience with inventory management and COGS and have worked with transactions in multiple currencies. You have very good system proficiency and are comfortable working in various IT systems, and communicate fluently in Swedish and English both orally and in writing.
It is an advantage if you have experience with payroll administration and personnel-related issues. Experience with Pyramid, Hogia Lön, and the reporting tool Tagetik is also seen as an advantage.
As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and self-starting, with a structured working method that gives you a good overview even when tasks are varied. Since you will work closely with a small finance team that handles other companies within the same group, it is important that you enjoy collaborating with others. At the same time, you are confident in working independently and driving work forward within your areas of responsibility.
You thrive in a role with many contact points and have a natural service orientation in dialogue with colleagues and external parties. You are unpretentious, have a solution-oriented approach, and feel comfortable in a role where you take initiative and contribute to quality and ongoing improvements in the financial work.
