We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a secure and positive young man in his late 20s with a strong interest in sports. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays during the day and evening, as well as weekends. A thorough and clear introduction is provided upon employment.

The client lives with the very rare diagnosis FOP (Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva), which means his body needs to be handled with great care in all situations. Please read more about the diagnosis at www.fopsverige.se (http://www.fopsverige.se).

The job involves being a physical support in daily life – keeping an eye on the client's general condition and well-being, and assisting with various activities based on the client's unique needs. You will be his extra arms and legs, handling everything from personal hygiene, assistance, cooking, cleaning, and other chores.

There is a well-developed implementation plan, and it is of utmost importance that you, as an applicant, are responsive, meticulous, and able to work according to clear routines. Daily documentation and continuous updating of the implementation plan are a natural part of the job.

As an assistant, it is important that you are attentive and have the ability to stay one step ahead – to prevent and avoid risks, thereby contributing to a secure everyday life. You should be mature in your approach and confident in handling both simple and more demanding situations. You will work both as part of a team and independently.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Confident, responsive, punctual, flexible, proactive, and has a genuine interest in your work.
• Physically fit/strong, as there are several transfers involved.
• Non-smoker.
• Fluent in Swedish.

The client appreciates assistants who are direct and clear in their communication, both verbally and through body language. The client prefers male applicants.

The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. Experience in personal assistance and care is a plus, but personal suitability will weigh the most.

Conditions:

Individual salary setting. Monthly salary or hourly wage. Collective agreement applies.
