We are now looking for a nursing assistant for us at the Dermatology Clinic. At our clinic, we have a family atmosphere and a strong sense of teamwork where you can make a difference for patients of all ages. Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant here at the dermatology clinic, in addition to standard reception duties, you will assist at various doctor's clinics and surgical clinics. You will also work with wound care and other treatments for various skin diseases. You will collaborate with nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors in a team and meet patients of all ages.

About the Workplace

The Dermatology Clinic is responsible for the care and nursing of patients with dermatological and venereological diseases in Region Västmanland. Patients with various skin diseases are referred to the dermatology clinic for diagnosis and treatment. At the venereology clinic, patients are diagnosed and treated for sexually transmitted infections. There are 34 employees at the clinic with different professional categories such as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, social workers, and clerks. We currently have 7 nursing assistants.

We work in beautiful and renovated premises in the old hospital, now the Regional House (Regionhuset).

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant with previous experience in the profession. Experience with the medical record system Cosmic and wound care is highly meritorious. Since we have a lot of patient contact and document in the medical record system Cosmic, it is important that you can communicate clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Personal qualities and skills are important to us, and we are looking for you who are stable and confident in your professional role. We work in teams and therefore expect that you enjoy working with others. You have the ability to structure your work and take responsibility for your tasks. The work at the clinic is varied and not always predictable, which is why flexibility and the ability to adapt to changed circumstances are good qualities for thriving in the role. Terms of Employment

A permanent full-time position with a start date no later than September 1, 2026. A full-time temporary position with a start date as soon as possible or as agreed. Both positions are located at the Dermatology Clinic in Västerås. Probationary employment may be applied.
