How you contribute in the role of Mechanic

We are looking for you who, together with motivated and competent colleagues, want to work in a climate-smart way and contribute to the development of the Sundsvall region.

As a mechanic, you will:

• perform preventive and corrective maintenance on operating plants and ancillary equipment
• perform operational optimization of our plants/machines
• be responsible for reporting/registering deviations in our systems
• conduct condition assessments
• act as coordinator during the annual revision of operating plants if/delegated for this task.

In the role of mechanic, other tasks within the area may also be added.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you with relevant upper secondary education, for example the vehicle program, mechanic education, or other education that we assess as relevant. We assume that you have at least five years of experience from industrial operations, where you have performed corrective and preventive maintenance.

You have experience working in maintenance systems, such as IDUS or similar systems. You also have good computer skills and can handle the Office package.

It is meritorious if you have experience operating mobile work platforms, traverses, cranes, and forklifts, as well as having the necessary licenses to operate them. It is also meritorious if you have good knowledge of laws and regulations related to the professional role.

As a person, you are engaged, driven, structured, and responsible. Furthermore, you have good teamwork skills that contribute to good relationships.

You can express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. A driver's license (Category B) is a requirement, and a Category C driver's license is meritorious.

We work for a drug-free workplace, which is why drug testing is mandatory upon new employment. The position may be part of Sundsvall Energi's emergency organization and has its base location at the Korsta plant.
