Are you a reliable support pillar looking for a fun and important job where you can make a difference in someone's life? We are looking for personal assistants for a cheerful 9-year-old in Strängnäs.

We need dedicated assistants for one of our younger clients – a girl with a big personality and extensive care needs. As an assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for both the child and her family.

The schedule covers waking hours throughout the entire day and night, with separate shifts for day and night.

About the position

Our client is a 9-year-old girl with extensive care needs. She is cheerful and social and needs support with everything in her daily life. She enjoys music, crafts, and going for walks. During the day, you accompany the girl to school and are present during lessons. After school hours, you work mostly at the girl's and her family's home. Therefore, it is important that you are good at communicating, have a kind and respectful attitude, and possess strong empathy.

The girl needs help with everything in her daily life. She does not have spoken language but expresses herself through sounds and gestures. She uses tube feeding and requires respiratory assistance, including a cough assist machine and a suctiometer.

The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. A thorough and clear introduction is provided upon employment. A car and driver's license are required to commute to and from work.

Since the client does not have spoken language and has difficulty expressing herself, you must be creative, sensitive, and attentive to small signals. Experience in personal assistance is advantageous, but personal suitability and care experience will weigh the most. Please include in your application when you are available for the position.

Since the client is under 18 years old, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required before employment.

You must not be a smoker.

A Class B driver's license is required to commute to and from the workplace.
