SJR is hiring a driven and structured Economic Assistant for an international company headquartered in Kista.
This is a full-time consultancy assignment starting immediately, initially for 6 months. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for direct employment with our client thereafter.
About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with the economic manager and collaborate tightly with the company's order and invoicing functions. You will become part of a small economic function within a group environment and report to the Group CFO. The work is performed from the office, where the team works on-site all days of the week. This is a broad role where you will have the opportunity to work with both administrative tasks and ongoing accounting, while also having the chance to influence and develop working methods and processes.
Responsibilities
- Handling of expense reports and credit card accounting
- Setup and maintenance of customer and supplier registers
- Administration of company cars (insurance, damage cases, and fuel cards)
- Administration of service agreements and handling of accruals
- Updating price lists for customers and suppliers
- Handling and booking of supplier invoices
- Preparing documentation for supplier payments
- Booking customer payments and following up on customer accounts receivable
- Reminder management towards customers
- Ongoing bookkeeping and support in monthly closing (e.g., depreciation and accruals)
- Bank reconciliations
- Purchase of office supplies and some office administration
Suitable Background
We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in economics or administration and approximately 2–3 years of experience in similar tasks. You have a good understanding of Swedish accounting and VAT regulations and are accustomed to working in business systems. Experience with Microsoft Business Central, Navision, or Dynamics is meritorious, as is experience from international environments and warehouse-related accounting. You have good skills in Excel and express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
