Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are an engaged special educator who wants to help develop our learning environments and contribute to ensuring that all students are given the best possible conditions for success. The role includes mentoring and supporting colleagues, contributing to student health work, and being a driving force in the development of accessible and inclusive learning environments. You work closely with school leadership and educators and play an important role in the schools' development work, where collaboration and the student's best interests are at the center. The placement of the position depends on the needs of the schools within the primary school system.

Qualifications

A degree in special education is required. We are looking for you who are confident, solution-focused, and have a good ability to collaborate and build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are well-versed in the special support process, from mapping and assessment to adaptations and action plans, as well as follow-up. You have a good ability to inspire and support colleagues in the work of developing teaching and learning environments based on students' needs.

To begin working in preschool, school, after-school centers, and other pedagogical activities, you are required to show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the Swedish Police Authority at www.polisen.se (https://www.polisen.se).

Anyone who has not shown an extract from the criminal record cannot be employed, engaged, or received in the activity according to current legal requirements.
