Our client is an 8-year-old boy who loves speed, excitement, mischief, and noise. If he could decide for himself, he would spend all day bathing, swinging, and listening to music. He also enjoys going outside for a while each day to move around.

The boy requires constant supervision and needs help with everything in his daily life.

He lacks verbal language and communicates through body language and sounds. Therefore, it is required that you are sensitive to different signals, calm, and able to interpret body language. His mood can change quickly, and as a personal assistant, you need to be attentive to quickly and smoothly divert frustration.

During the day, the boy attends school without his personal assistant. After school hours, you will mostly work at the boy's and his family's home. Therefore, it is important that you are good at communicating, have a kind and respectful attitude, and possess strong empathetic skills.

The boy eats mostly via a feeding tube and requires supervision due to severe epilepsy.

The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. A thorough and clear introduction is provided upon employment.

A driver's license is required.

It is desirable that you have knowledge of child development, are pedagogical, somewhat creative, and enjoy trying out different activities together with the boy to support his development.

Since the client does not have spoken language and has difficulty expressing himself, it is required that you are creative, sensitive, and attentive to small signals. Experience in personal assistance and epilepsy is advantageous, but personal suitability and care experience will weigh the most.
