On Ward 4 in Växjö, we are a neurological ward where patients with stroke and neurological diseases such as Parkinson's, epilepsy, MS, ALS, brain tumors, and Guillain-Barré are cared for. Job Description

You will be responsible for nursing care, medical tasks, and contributing to the rehabilitation process together with other professional groups. A special part of our ward is the emergency room where we receive 'Save the Brain' alarms. Here, you will be involved in acute interventions, including thrombolysis treatment, which provides varied and educational work. For those who wish to develop, we offer stroke competence training and opportunities for further education within neurology.

When you start with us, we ensure that you receive an introduction adapted to your previous experience and knowledge so that you get the security you need to start working well. If you are newly employed within Region Kronoberg, you will also participate in several induction courses that all new employees take part in during their first time with us.

Qualifications

With great commitment, we welcome you who are a registered nurse and want to become part of the Medicine Clinic in Växjö. You have a genuine interest in providing good care and work actively to ensure that the patient's needs are at the center. If you have previous experience of stroke or neurological care, it is meritorious, but it is not a requirement.

We are looking for you who have good cooperation skills and enjoy working closely with different professional groups, both within the ward and together with other units and clinics. You have a solution-oriented approach, contribute to a positive work environment, and are confident in taking responsibility. With us, you need to be able to handle a varying work pace and feel comfortable making independent decisions when the situation requires it.
