Job Description

AFRY is one of the leading players in the Water and Wastewater (VA) sector. We are in an expansion phase and need to grow our team. We are therefore looking for engaged and driven professionals within the VA field. Are you the one we are looking for?

With our expert knowledge, we help customers across the country – across all industries, municipalities and municipal companies, authorities, as well as businesses and industries. We work broadly across the entire VA sector, from early-stage investigations and studies to detailed design, inspections, and training.

The Water West section works with everything from early investigations to detailed design and construction supervision. We work with system solutions for water and wastewater networks, stormwater investigations, flood investigations, and pipeline coordination. As a VA Designer, you will work with investigations, design, and dimensioning of water and wastewater systems. The project phases we work with range from early stages, investigations, and conceptual proposals to detailed design, ready tender documents, and support during construction.

Together with colleagues within your technical field, you will operate within the entire infrastructure and civil engineering sector. In this role, you will work on assignments throughout the country, and travel is expected.

You will be based at one of our offices in Gothenburg or Halmstad.

Qualifications

As a person, you are curious and interested in your technical field, and you have energy and drive. You find it easy to understand and participate in technical discussions and thrive in a fast-paced environment characterized by strong growth.

We are primarily looking for you who have several years of work experience in VA design as a consultant, contractor, and/or client. We believe you have good knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and are well-versed in AMA standards. As AFRY is an international company, we expect you to master both Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Educationally, we see that you have a relevant university degree or Master of Science in Engineering, or alternatively, you have acquired equivalent skills through longer experience in the industry.
