RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to help create sustainable, safe, and operationally adapted working environments in an authority with an important societal mission? We are now looking for a Property Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for our premises and property issues and contribute to the development of our workplaces in line with changing needs and ways of working.
The HR and Property Unit belongs to the Business Support Department and is responsible for strategic and operational support within HR and the employer area, as well as Bolagsverket's property and premises issues.
Here, you will have a central role where you work both strategically, tactically, and operationally together with engaged colleagues and close to the operations.
As Property Manager, you are responsible for the authority's overarching property and premises issues. You drive and develop the work with premises supply and ensure that our premises support the operations' needs both today and over time.
The work includes, among other things:
- responsibility for the authority's overarching property and premises issues and developing the work with efficient, sustainable, and operationally adapted premises use
- manage and develop short- and long-term premises supply plans based on operational needs and changing ways of working
- responsibility for interior design, premises adaptations, and issues related to working environment, physical security, and personal safety in the premises
- specify requirements in tenders and handle quotations, agreements, contract proposals, and supplier contacts according to current legislation
- prepare materials for business plans and budgets and be responsible for financial follow-up within the area of responsibility according to principles of good financial management
- coordinate and lead the operational work within the property team
Premises issues are an important part of business development, and we see a continued need for flexible workplaces that can be adapted over time. In this role, you will therefore have the opportunity to contribute to the development of sustainable and functional working environments that support the operations' needs, both now and in the future.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have:
- relevant post-secondary education in property, civil engineering, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
- several years of experience in working with property issues, premises supply, or equivalent
- experience of public procurement, contract work, and supplier management
- knowledge and experience of systematic fire protection work
- good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- experience from a state authority or other public operations
- good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as LOU (Public Procurement Act), working environment, and safety issues
- experience of budget work and financial follow-up
- good understanding of working environment, safety, and operational requirements related to premises
Personal qualities
To succeed in the role, we see that you are structured and work in a planned and goal-oriented manner. You have a good ability to see the big picture and can balance the operations' short-term needs with long-term perspectives.
You are solution-oriented and confident in your actions, even in complex or changing situations. We value that you have integrity, are clear in your communication, and have the courage to make decisions when needed.
Since the role involves coordinating and leading a team, it is important that you have good leadership skills and can create engagement, participation, and good collaboration.
