We are now looking for an engaged and solution-oriented Street Engineer to join the Community Development Administration in Tidaholm Municipality.

About the position

As a Street Engineer with us, you will work broadly with the development and management of the municipality's traffic and street environment. You will play a central role in creating safe, sustainable, and functional solutions for our residents.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Traffic issues and traffic safety work
• Planning and follow-up of paving works
• Participation in procurement and contractor contacts
• Work on bridges and other infrastructure facilities
• Investigations and development projects related to streets and traffic

You will collaborate closely with colleagues within the administration, other operations, authorities, and residents. In your work, we use tools such as Geosecma/ArcGIS (ESRI) and AutoCAD.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate effect or as agreed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education, for example in community development, road and water, or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent. Experience in municipal technical services or work with traffic and streets is an advantage.

• Communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
