ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with the development and further development of Windows-based applications with a focus on C++. You will become an important part of a cross-functional team where you contribute throughout the entire development process – from architecture and design to implementation, testing, and quality assurance.

You will work in a modern development environment where quality, performance, and user experience are in focus.

Example of tasks:

• Develop and maintain software in C++, C#, .NET, and WPF
• Contribute to system architecture and design of new applications
• Perform code reviews and identify and fix bugs
• Optimize performance and improve software quality
• Write clean and maintainable unit tests
• Work with debugging, verification, and testing
• Collaborate closely with development teams and other parts of the organization

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO HAVE:

• A degree in Engineering Physics/Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Some years of experience in software development
• Extensive experience in developing Windows applications in C++
• Experience in agile development teams
• Good proficiency with Git and automated testing
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Not necessary, but advantageous if you have experience/knowledge of:

• C# and .NET
• WPF and desktop development for Windows
• Image analysis or pattern recognition
• SQL databases
• Python scripting
• UI/UX and user interfaces
• Work in regulated environments, such as MedTech

We would appreciate if you can communicate in Swedish, although English is the corporate language.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday before moving over to direct employment at the company.
