Trelleborg Sealing Profiles is looking for a Production Manager who, with a down-to-earth leadership style, contributes to employee engagement and a focus on results.

About the Role

Production at Trelleborg is led by two Production Managers. The overarching responsibility is to lead, monitor, and develop production within your area of responsibility. The role involves both operational tasks in everyday work and a strategic focus on improvements and development. You will have support from several shift team leaders, production technicians, and access to support functions within quality, HR, and planning.

You are responsible for approximately 40 employees, meaning that in addition to an interest in production management, you must enjoy working with personnel and organizational issues. You are part of the production management group and report to the Production & Process Manager.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Operational Production Management: Leading and monitoring work to achieve set goals regarding volume, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Work Environment: Ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
• Development: Coaching and developing team leaders and employees, as well as driving competence development, performance reviews, and salary setting.
• Improvement Work: Driving and monitoring improvement initiatives within your production area.
• Strategic Work: Active participation in the Production Management Group.

Your Profile

A post-secondary education is not a requirement, but it provides a good foundation. To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with:

• At least 5 years of experience in production management within manufacturing industry, preferably the automotive industry.
• Experience in personnel management and handling full personnel responsibility.
• Experience with systematic improvement work.
• Good knowledge of work environment, quality, and production economics.
• Good IT skills in Office, and experience working in ERP systems.
• Good language skills in Swedish and English.
