The Academic Primary Care Centre (APC) has an overarching research, education, and development mandate for primary care in Region Stockholm. APC and the three university health centres Jakobsberg, Gustavsberg, and Liljeholmen constitute the primary care university healthcare unit (USV) and are an important part of the new organization for knowledge management nationally and regionally. The operations are based on a network organization where the majority of our employees have their primary employment in clinical primary care activities. Stockholm County Healthcare (SLSO) is the main employer, but APC's operations are conducted independently of the operational model throughout Region Stockholm. Read more about APC here.

Description

FaR - Physical Activity on Prescription, is an evidence-based working method for healthcare. FaR can be prescribed to individuals assessed to be able to perform activities outside the healthcare system. Organizations that provide physical activity can join the Stockholm FaR Leader Network, thereby creating collaboration with prescribers within healthcare who wish to offer support to individuals to become more physically active.

Your placement is at the Academic Primary Care Centre. You will work in a team for FaR, and we otherwise have competent employees who continuously develop, improve, and collaborate to deliver quality in everything we do.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with the manager of the FaR Leader Network and, among other things, recruit organizations that offer physical activity. Recruitment takes place from the sports movement, other non-profit associations, municipal swimming and sports halls, outdoor life organizations, patient organizations, as well as private training facilities/companies.

The role also includes developing and quality-assuring certifications and training for organizations and their leaders.

A part of the work involves administration, including updating and developing the digital platform for physical activity.

We are now looking for two case workers for our FaR Leader Network.

Qualifications

  • Education in sports and health, or alternatively other education that the employer considers equivalent
  • Good knowledge of the office package (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience in similar work
  • Experience in training and administration
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English

Conditions

Fixed-term employment, until 2026-12-31, part-time.

In patient-related work within Stockholm County Healthcare (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's general guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational healthcare before employment.
  • Swedish professional licensure is required, along with good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
