Our Operations

Ward 2 Medicine is a general medical ward with a focus on stroke and internal medicine. Here, you will gain broad competence in general medicine and stroke care. We are a cheerful and cohesive team striving to continuously improve our care. We value a secure work environment where everyone, both patients and staff, feel involved and satisfied.

Most of our patients come from our own emergency department, meaning that as a nursing assistant, you will meet patients in the acute phase. However, we also receive patients for aftercare from Uppsala University Hospital. Rotation to our sister ward, Ward 1 Medicine, may occur. Ward 1 Medicine is a general medical ward with a focus on cardiology and internal medicine.

Your Role

Standard duties as a nursing assistant on the medical ward. The work with us is highly varied and requires that you can quickly switch between different tasks and have a good clinical eye.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a nursing assistant education or alternatively have completed 4 semesters of a nursing or medical program. As a person, you are flexible and good at collaborating, and of course, you have a great interest in working with people. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
