General Practitioner at Meliva Health Centre Kungshörnet – Welcome to Meliva!
Do you want to work in an organization where quality, care, and development go hand in hand?
There is now an opportunity to apply for a position with us.
At Meliva, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference – for both patients and colleagues – while having the conditions for a balanced life. This includes, among other things, stable working hours and a work environment where we value reasonable workload, collegial support, and space for recovery.
Here you will meet patients of all ages and from different backgrounds, in a daily routine where both professional exchange and personal engagement are valued. As part of the Meliva Group, you will also become part of a growing and innovative healthcare concern – with access to a broad network of colleagues and the opportunity to develop both yourself and Swedish primary care.
About the position
Meliva Health Centre Kungshörnet is located on Kungsgatan in Uppsala. Here, ambitious and driven doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, counselors, and physiotherapists work together. The health centre is a small unit with big ambitions. We focus on collegiality and collaboration, and we value initiative, respect, and a solution-oriented mindset. In your role at Meliva Kungshörnet, you will primarily work with reception activities – both planned and urgent visits – and have the opportunity for digital consultations. The patient group is varied, and you will work in close collaboration with a competent and supportive team.
You will serve as the Medical Director (MLA) of the health centre, holding an overarching role focused on medical leadership issues in close collaboration with the Operations Manager.
We encourage initiative, participation in development projects, and that you contribute your expertise to the organization's improvement work.
We offer you
- A workplace where you can influence and have an impact
- Clear development paths – do you want to mentor, lead, or specialize further?
- Colleagues and managers with strong commitment and long experience
- A values-driven organization with the human being in focus
We are looking for you who
- Are a specialist in general practice
- Have good communication skills and work professionally and empathetically
- Enjoy teamwork but are also self-reliant
- Actively contribute to operational development and quality assurance
- Have a holistic perspective on patient needs and the mission of primary care
