About the role

At Mo Gård, we communicate using sign language or adapted communication methods, depending on the individual's needs. Your task is to provide support in the individual's daily life and to assist based on the persons' interests, wishes, and conditions. You provide support in daily activities from a pedagogical approach.

The daily work includes, among other things, support and guidance with personal care, meals, medication management, hygiene routines, as well as support in social activities. You will be part of a dedicated work group where you will work together to ensure that every individual has a meaningful occupation and daily life.

Who are you?

We prefer that you have completed upper secondary education in the healthcare and care program or the child and youth program. Previous experience in similar tasks is a great advantage. Knowledge of sign language, understanding of disabilities, and experience within psychiatry are also considered meritorious.

As a person, you are engaged and outgoing; you find it easy to collaborate, make contacts, and maintain good relationships. You are secure and stable, with self-awareness and a flexible mindset. You are responsible, appreciate order and structure, and take initiative in your work. In our recruitment process, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Computer skills are required as documentation is a recurring task. You must be able to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, to meet the information requirements for your work.

Employment

Employment type: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period.

Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.

Working hours: Your working hours will follow a schedule covering days, evenings, and weekends. On-call duties may occur if the operation requires it in the future.

We offer individual salary setting. A prerequisite for employment is that you can provide an extract from the criminal record register, as well as proof of the right to work in Sweden. Candidates will undergo psychometric tests during our recruitment process.

A valid B-driver's license is required.
