We are now looking for a Team Leader for Arlanda
Do you want to take the next step in your leadership career and work in a business where no two days are alike? Avarn Security is now looking for an engaged Team Leader for Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
Avarn Security has the contract to deliver security services to Stockholm Arlanda Airport, which involves staffing with Airport Controllers, Security Guards, and Patrol Officers. We have also been delivering security services to Malmö Airport (Sturup), Sälen Airport (Scandinavian Mountains Airport), and Oslo Airport Gardermoen for many years.

About the role
As a Team Leader, you have responsibility for the working environment for the Airport Controllers in security control. You are an present leader who works close to the operations with coaching, follow-up, and development of your employees.
You combine your work with administrative tasks and ensure that employees have the right competence and prerequisites to succeed.
In the role, you will:
- Have overall responsibility for personnel and working environment within your unit
- Lead, follow up, and develop your personnel group towards set goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Drive and develop systematic improvement and working environment work, including safety rounds
- Conduct employee interviews and handle sickness and rehabilitation cases
- Identify risks in the operations and initiate and follow up on improvement measures
- Participate in and contribute to personnel-related projects
- Collaborate with and report to the HR partner
You work according to clear guidelines and in close collaboration with other Team Leaders.
The position is full-time (Monday–Friday) with some shifted working hours in the evenings and on weekends.
Start date by agreement.
Your profile
We are looking for you who are a confident and communicative leader with a genuine interest in people and development. You thrive in a role where you get to combine structure with presence in the operations and have the ability to handle both everyday and more complex personnel matters.
We believe you have:
- Experience leading in personnel-intensive operations, preferably in a multicultural environment
- A few years of experience as a manager or leader
- Strong drive to develop both operations and employees
- Good ability to handle difficult conversations and personnel matters
- A clear and structured leadership style
- Very good communication skills
You are a team player who inspires others, creates engagement, and works purposefully to achieve results.
