About the Role

We welcome a junior Data Engineer to grow into the role of Digital Lead at our client. In this position, you are responsible for driving, coordinating, and implementing digital initiatives that create value in both production and administrative functions. The role is operational and broad, involving a mix of analysis, coordination, practical execution, and dialogue with the business, acting as a bridge between business, IT, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate digital initiatives from idea to established workflow in both production and administrative processes.
• Identify digitalization opportunities based on business needs, pain points, and goals.
• Collaborate with business representatives, IT, architecture, data/BI, automation, and external vendors.
• Drive the digitalization of production-proximate processes, such as planning, monitoring, traceability, and exception handling.
• Support the implementation of digital workflows in workshop environments through close dialogue with operators and production engineers.
• Simplify information flows, reduce manual work, and increase transparency in administrative and engineering processes.
• Contribute to better decision-making through data, visualization, and structure.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of IT systems and digital applications that support business processes, acquired through education or work experience.
• Strong knowledge of tools related to data analysis and data visualization, such as Python, Databricks, Power BI, and data pipelines.
• Good programming skills, preferably in Python, SQL, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with data sources and industrial systems such as Ignitio, MES, or ERP.
• Experience working at the interface between business and IT.
• Experience with projects in an industrial environment (preferably manufacturing).
• Academic background in Computer Science or IT.
