ABOUT THE ROLE

We are now looking for a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to join our office in Örebro. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for some of our Swedish companies, which entails responsibility for accounting, annual reports, and reporting. You will work closely with other colleagues in the accounting team as well as controllers and other colleagues at Nexer, and are expected to take a leading role in developing and streamlining our financial processes.

You ensure that accounting maintains high quality, complies with current regulations, and delivers accurate and relevant data to management and the group. The role involves both operational work and strategic elements, where you actively contribute with improvement proposals and drive change initiatives.

The work is performed at our office in Örebro.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for accounting, monthly, and annual accounts for some of our Swedish companies
• Ensure quality and efficiency in accounting processes
• Handle VAT, tax, and authority reporting
• Perform annual report work
• Create cash flow forecasts
• Participate in group reporting and consolidation issues
• Be a key person in financial analysis and reporting to management
• Drive improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new ways of working

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in accounting and closing processes, preferably in a larger group. You have a relevant academic education in economics, good knowledge of financial systems and reporting, and are confident in the role of Accounting Manager.

To succeed with us, we believe you are structured, meticulous, and self-driven, while also thriving in collaboration and contributing to the team's development. You have a solution-oriented approach and see opportunities in change.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of the financial system Visma Control and PX
• Good familiarity with K3 and/or IFRS
• Experience with project accounting
• Experience with group accounting and reporting
• Experience with tax issues and payroll-related accounting entries
