Working as a Control Systems Engineer

As a Control Systems Engineer with our client, you will work with exciting and complex technical issues. You will become part of a business responsible for technical content in the planning and implementation of infrastructure investments, contributing specialist expertise in infrastructure technology. With technology in focus, the team works on developing practical solutions for challenges in operations, development, and infrastructure construction.

Your main responsibility will be to contribute specialist expertise to the investment activities and act as a technical resource in various projects. Your tasks include, among other things:

  • Ensuring the quality of new facilities and that the facility design is optimal.
  • Participating in bid evaluations related to the technical functions of stations.
  • Reviewing technical construction and checking design during factory tests.
  • Acting as the responsible representative during commissioning tests and commissioning, ensuring the facility meets technical requirements and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with other departments within the investment activities.

Travel to projects in northern Sweden occurs, as well as occasional travel abroad. The role is based in Luleå.

We are looking for you who:

  • Have an engineering degree in electrical power engineering or equivalent competence through work experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience with various types of electrical power issues and a good understanding of the power grid's structure and function, preferably with a focus on fault disconnection and control equipment systems.
  • Have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
