Your daily work

As an IT Technician here, you will become part of our IT team, which currently consists of two focus areas: technology and business IT, managed by the Group IT Director. Our team supports the local company in Smålandsstenar, as well as our sister companies in the division located across Europe.

In this role, you will support our users with IT-related questions via phone, remote, and on-site. You will handle both 1st and 2nd line issues on a broad level – everything from password resets, hardware and software support, client support, and application support to troubleshooting Windows servers, coordinating, and communicating with third-party vendors. The role demands a high level of service orientation.

You will also be an important participant in various IT projects.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is eager to develop and take on this role! You have started your career in IT and feel ready for the next step. Or perhaps you are about to enter the workforce with a university degree in IT. You preferably have some type of post-secondary IT education, although this is not an absolute requirement.

As a person, you are meticulous, solution-focused, and curious. You understand the importance of structure and value digging into the problems and challenges you encounter. Always trying to make the IT environment a little better and a little safer are two of your key words! As an IT Technician here, you have many contact areas, which means you value communication and collaboration.

We would appreciate if you have general knowledge in:

• Office 365 and surrounding services
• Windows 11
• Administration in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Networking
• Windows Server
• Troubleshooting hardware and peripherals
• Microsoft Configuration Manager and Intune
• Working in case management systems

You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
