ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for you who want to work as needed as a temporary substitute for our client in Hallsberg. Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

Working hours include:

• 07:30 - 07:30 with waiting time overnight
• 07:30 - 16:00
• 16:00 - 07:30 with waiting time overnight

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is an active man in his late 30s who enjoys going for walks, riding, listening to music, and going swimming. He needs your help as an assistant in his daily life due to cerebral palsy, autism, and developmental disability. Assistive devices such as a wheelchair and a shower chair are available in the home.

The duties include the following:

• Help with daily routines such as household chores
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is calm, clear, and capable of working in a low-affective manner. You should be friendly, resourceful, and have a professional attitude. The job also involves swimming with the client. Personal suitability is highly valued. The client requests female assistants only.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to handle scratching/kicking and be a competent swimmer
• Ability to work night shifts/24-hour shifts

MERITS

• Professional experience working as a personal assistant or within healthcare and social services
• Nursing/Healthcare education

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will cover both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
