We are now looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a preschool-aged child with extensive medical needs. The role involves becoming an important part of the child's daily life and contributing to safety, development, and quality of life.

The work is performed in a home environment where the child spends their day. The role includes qualified care, handling of medical equipment (including tube feeding), personal hygiene, transfers, and support during play and training. You will work closely with the family and be part of a team where collaboration and communication are crucial. The position involves wakeful supervision and double staffing.

Work shifts are scheduled during the day, evening, and night, seven days a week. We would appreciate it if you have the availability to step in with short notice when needed and can work during the summer and other holiday periods.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is secure, sensitive, and has a genuine commitment to working with children with special needs. You are flexible and have the ability to adapt to changing situations. Working independently and taking responsibility comes naturally to you, while you also value good collaboration with colleagues.

You should have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, be meticulous with documentation, maintain a professional and respectful attitude, and be patient and attentive.

Experience in personal assistance or work within healthcare and social care is advantageous, especially if you have previously worked with children and medical interventions.

A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (criminal record extract) is required prior to employment, in accordance with our procedures.
