Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund is a municipal association responsible for providing and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4,000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund, you will become part of a small team with a large and important mission: to be responsible for and provide digital tools to staff and students in a diverse range of IT environments.

In the role of IT Technician, you will take responsibility for the entire chain, from ordering and exchanges to service, support, and maintaining inventory lists for annual orders. We are looking for someone who independently drives the work forward towards our common goal. To thrive in this role, you have a strong technical interest in hardware such as computers, mobile phones, printers, and AV equipment. In our daily work, we collaborate closely with Kalmar Municipality IT regarding infrastructure, including networks, telephony, and some hardware.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a suitable combination of post-secondary education and experience for the assignment.
• Has high digital competence and is quick to learn new technical solutions.
• Is service-oriented and solution-focused. Has the interest, willingness, and ability to help others.
• Has good communication skills.
• Is structured and finds it easy to inventory and plan various activities.
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B).

We consider it meritorious with previous work and experience in:

• Google Workspace for Education with associated services, which is our main platform for teachers and students.
• Microsoft 365 with associated services used by many administrative roles in our organization.
• Management tools for managing PC computers (Microsoft Intune), Macintosh computers (Jamf), and Chromebooks (Google Admin).
• Support work, both via support systems, telephony, and practically on-site.

Salary: Monthly salary.

Working hours: Daytime.

A satisfactory extract from the police criminal record for work within schools must be presented before an employment offer is made.

To strengthen Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund's ability to operate under heightened readiness, all permanent staff will be assigned to wartime duties (krigsplacerad).

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be claimed by surplus personnel or that required political decisions are made.
