Eccera is now looking for an engaged IT/OT specialist for an exciting assignment with one of our customers just outside Oskarshamn. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a business-critical environment where you play a central role in the borderland between IT and production.

About the role

In this role, you become a key person in ensuring stable, secure, and future-proof operation of industrial systems. You will work closely with production, maintenance, and central IT functions, with a focus on availability, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement. The role is both operational and development-oriented, which means you get to combine hands-on work with strategic improvement work.

Your tasks

• Operation, monitoring, and further development of OT environments (PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial networks)
• Ensure a safe and efficient integration between IT and OT systems
• Work with IT/OT cybersecurity (segmentation, firewalls, patching, and access control)
• Participate in and lead technical investigations as well as improvement and investment projects
• Troubleshooting and incident management in production-critical systems
• Collaboration with suppliers, IT department, and operations
• Documentation, standardization, and implementation of risk analyses

Your profile

We are looking for you who have:

• Post-secondary education in IT, automation, industrial technology, or equivalent experience
• At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience
• Experience working in an industrial OT environment
• Good understanding of networks, servers, and system integration
• Knowledge of industrial control systems (e.g., Siemens, ABB, or Mitsubishi)
• Experience with IT security, preferably within OT/industrial environments
• Experience with virtual environments and backup solutions (e.g., VMware and NetApp)
• Experience with production systems such as MES or historian systems

You also have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
