Press Kogyo is a successful industry with ambitious Japanese owners. We work with sheet metal with a thickness between 1.5 and 18 millimeters.

Our owner is the global Japanese group Press Kogyo, one of Japan's largest subcontractors, with factories in Japan, Thailand, the USA, China, Indonesia, and Oskarshamn. We are a complete subcontractor for sheet metal components, adapted for small, medium, and large series.

In Oskarshamn, we have approximately 170 employees and an annual turnover of approximately 580 million SEK.

About the Job

We are now looking for an IT Manager.

We are seeking a structured, communicative, and solution-oriented IT Manager who wants to contribute to ensuring that our IT support is secure, purposeful, and creates value and support for our company.

About the Role

As IT Manager, you will have a central role with responsibility for business support, operations, IT, and external suppliers. You will act as a key link between our internal needs and the IT solutions required for the business to function efficiently, securely, and sustainably.

In this role, you are responsible for managing, coordinating, developing, and monitoring the business's IT-related needs. You will work closely with the operations to ensure that IT support functions, develops, and complies with current requirements. The role includes the implementation of new systems and working methods, as well as work with information security.

As IT Manager, you will also monitor deliveries, contracts, and service quality, contribute to information security and data protection work, and coordinate the need for IT equipment and hardware with the operations.

Person Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post-secondary education in IT, systems science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with IT systems within the manufacturing industry; experience with EDI communication is a plus.
  • Good understanding of IT systems, integrations, and digital working methods.
  • Basic knowledge of information security and data protection, such as GDPR and NIS2.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience working in business systems, preferably with experience in Jeeves.

Employment Conditions

Permanent position.

Salary according to agreement.
