About Us

Primary care includes Region Blekinge's health centers, youth clinics, and wound centers. Residents of Blekinge who fall ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all of the county's cities, on several smaller localities, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care where teamwork and patient needs are at the center. Sölvesborg Health Center is part of Hälsoval, and here we are approximately 35 employees in different professions working together to meet our slightly over 9,400 registered patients. We have nurse specialist clinics within diabetes, asthma/COPD/smoking cessation, and child health care. There is also an elderly care clinic at the health center.

The health center is part of a project called RAK (Right Use of Competence), where exciting development work is underway to use competencies in the best possible way, and you will be given great opportunities for various types of development work. About the Job

As a Child Health Care Nurse (BHV), you work according to the national goals of Child Health Care, which is to contribute to the best possible physical, mental, and social health for children. You will work both independently and in a team with colleagues, and the work includes home visits, clinic visits, team visits with doctors, vaccinations, and parent groups. This position also includes work in the regular operations at the health center's clinic, which means you will also sit in telephone advice and have certain emergency shifts in your schedule.

About You

You must be a District Nurse or a Registered Nurse with further education in children and youth. You have a genuine interest in people and have the child in focus. You are confident in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good work climate. Furthermore, you have good cooperation skills, initiative, and want to be involved in the development of the workplace. Previous work in Child Health Care is meritorious. A B-class driver's license is required. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Region Blekinge assigns all permanent staff to wartime duties. Some of our positions are security-classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and register check according to the Security Protection Act. Applicants who are suitable for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record register before employment.
