About Us

Welcome to us! Åsidan Health Centre is looking for a specialist physician in general medicine. The health centre is a well-established, region-run facility with approximately 12,500 registered patients. The centre is geographically well-located due to its proximity to Nyköping Hospital, Nyköping train station, the E4 highway, Skavsta Airport, the sea, and nature, which facilitates commuting and perhaps even a lunchtime walk.

Åsidan Health Centre has approximately 50 employees who agree that the centre's strength lies in teamwork with a focus on the patient's best interests. Here, doctors, nurses, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together. The medical group consists of specialist physicians and ST (specialization) physicians, as well as one or two AT (introductory training) physicians on a continuous basis. At Åsidan Health Centre, we work in teams, meaning the patient gets to the right resource at the right time. The goal for Åsidan is that all patients have a designated, named specialist physician or ST physician.

Our responsibilities include care for special housing, home healthcare, and Child Health Care Services (BVC), so there is room for side assignments depending on your area of interest. With us, you will have a varied job where you meet patients of all ages, with different backgrounds and varying needs.

Your Responsibilities

Day-to-day work at the health centre includes managing infectious disease flows, acute care flows, an on-call doctor function that answers questions during the day, and your own scheduled clinic. You will naturally collaborate with the other professions at the health centre and serve as a supervisor for ST/AT physicians. You are part of a medical group that together develops primary healthcare with a focus on quality, continuity, accessibility, and attractiveness.

Certain on-call and standby duties are included.

Your Qualifications

• You are a licensed physician and specialist in general medicine.
• You enjoy working independently with varied tasks.
• You have good collaboration skills and flexibility.
• You have experience working at a health centre and are interested in development.
• A B-category driver's license is desirable but not required.

Employment Type

Permanent position, full-time or part-time, with a start date as agreed.
