About the role

As a Business Developer, you will hold a central position within the IT Department for Grid and Infrastructure. You will work closely with management and leaders, focusing on governance, strategy implementation, and business development within a complex and socially critical IT operation.

You will contribute both strategically and operationally by driving development work, strengthening the management group's working methods, and supporting the department's managers in their daily line management. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, who thrives in a coordinating function, and has experience that provides an understanding of how larger IT organizations function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working on business development related to management support
• Supporting and further developing the management group's working methods
• Supporting department managers in operational line work, such as planning, organizing, and administering various activities
• Managing consultant engagements and certain HR-related tasks
• Driving and contributing to process development
• Supporting the development of processes and methodologies within the department's units
• Coordinating and handling work related to management and governance at the department level
• Working on organizational development
• Facilitating workshops and leading change initiatives

You will gain deep insight into the work of unit managers and Svenska Kraftnät's methods for business development. You will build a broad network within the IT department and within the Grid Division, with which we collaborate closely. The role provides in-depth knowledge of Svenska Kraftnät and the electricity sector, which is in a strong and exciting phase of development.

The IT Division consists of approximately 800 employees distributed across seven departments. You will belong to the IT Department for Grid and Infrastructure, which holds the strategic and operational delivery responsibility for the IT solutions that enable the Grid Division to work efficiently and achieve its goals.

Our mission is to meet the business's needs by offering high competence and modern IT solutions that enable the Grid Division to build and manage a cost-effective, reliable, and environmentally adapted power transmission system.

About you

Requirements

You are good at structure and can contribute to creating order for yourself and the groups you work with. You are relationship-building and have a good ability to build trust and confidence. You are secure in yourself and your role, which is a prerequisite for succeeding in your work where you will collaborate in various constellations. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You have a university/college degree (120 credits/180 ECTS) or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska Kraftnät assesses as equivalent. You also have:

• At least 5 years of experience working within IT operations as a Business Developer, Team Lead, or similar role where you have:
  • Created structure, prioritized, and followed up on work.
  • Translated strategy into concrete activities and deliverables.
• Applied agile working methods within the IT development area.
• Professional experience supporting management groups with development and improvement work.
• Participated in organizational changes within IT operations.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English

Merits

• Several years of experience with Security Classified Procurement (SUA) within public operations
• Experience from the electricity sector
• Professional experience where you have provided support in change leadership.
