Process Leader for Honour-Based Violence and Oppression

The County Administrative Board is a crucial coordinating link at the interface between the state, regions, municipalities, business sector, and individuals. The County Administrative Board works to ensure that national goals are implemented in the county, while taking regional conditions and prerequisites into account. This involves balancing important public interests and resolving goal conflicts. The Board has a broad and multifaceted mandate regarding both tasks and subject areas. The agency's main tasks include permit assessment, supervision, knowledge dissemination, and coordination within many societal sectors. Approximately 230 people work here, and our head is the County Governor.

If you are interested in societal issues and want to contribute to the development of Värmland County, you may be the right person for us.

Description

At the Social Sustainability unit, we work with issues such as integration, human rights, gender equality, crime prevention, and violence against men. We are 15 employees working together to contribute to long-term and strategic development through collaboration and coordination. Here, you will meet engaged and experienced colleagues who help and support each other in daily life while also having fun together. You will also be assigned a mentor for an introduction that will gradually help you settle into the work. We offer one hour of wellness activities per week during working hours, as well as a wellness allowance.

Job Responsibilities

As a Process Leader, you will lead the work of planning, developing, and establishing a regional resource centre against honour-based violence and oppression. The assignment includes, among other things:

  • Conduct needs analyses and mapping of the county's support structure and development needs, as well as gather knowledge to ensure that the development of the regional resource centre is based on national mandates, knowledge support, and research in the field of honour-based violence and oppression.
  • Lead the development of sustainable forms of collaboration and governance, and propose operational structures, economic and operational division of responsibilities, working methods, and effect monitoring for the regional resource centre.
  • Contribute to integrating the work into the County Administrative Board's and collaborating actors' regular structures and long-term work.
  • Participate in the County Administrative Board's joint collaboration structure for work with the resource centre against honour-based violence and oppression.
