As a personal assistant, you will undertake challenging yet highly rewarding tasks. Your main responsibility is to enable a person with a disability to live an independent life, on equal terms with others.

At the client's request, we prefer candidates who speak Spanish and are willing to travel with the man during a two-month trip abroad. You must hold a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining at the start of the trip.

We are currently looking for two personal assistants for a 64-year-old man living in Gothenburg. The trip is planned for late August 2026, but the dates may be adjusted to an earlier time depending on agreement. Your travel expenses will be covered by the employer.

The man uses a wheelchair and has reduced function in one hand, requiring support with most aspects of daily life. You will support him in his daily routine with various tasks. These duties include standard personal assistant responsibilities such as assistance with personal hygiene, meals, leisure activities, and some mobility support.

The position involves full-time work with a flexible schedule. Your workplace will be wherever the man is located, both indoors and outdoors.

There are no formal requirements for education or prior experience in similar roles, although these are preferred. Personal chemistry is important; therefore, we are looking for someone who is secure, engaged, and responsible, with a big heart. You should be positive and contribute to a good atmosphere.
